7/8 ~ Pippi will be bred to 'Ethan' AKC Ch. / Group Winner Longship's GrnMtn Boy Bearscamp, OFA in Jan. 2011.

6/27 ~ Doby & Lara win a GROUP 2 in Orlando, FL for 3 days of group placings!!!

6/26 ~ Doby & Lara win a GROUP 3 in Orlando, FL!!!

6/25 ~ Doby & Lara win a GROUP 1 his 1st time back out in Orlando, FL!!!!

Awesome wins for the 'GIRLS' who own Doby ~ Dawn Blaine of Belle Harbour Newfs, Dionne Reep of Mtn-to-Sea Newfs & Marie Tumlin of Chekrdflags.

3/6 ~ NEW CHAMPION ~ Ch. Kloofbear's Pippi Longstocking, OFA earned her last major in Hilton Head, SC, owner-handled.

'Dreamy' Group placing/Ch. Chekrdflags American Dream Girl at Charlotte's was the #43 Pyr

'Lola' Group placing/Ch. Kenneview's Vegas Showgirl HOF, earned her Hall of Fame for Champion offspring.

 

11/16~ Fred is the sire to 2 boys & 2 girls at Apple Hill Newfs - all sold 

11/15 ~ Best of Breed * Ch. Fred * Concord, NC

11/14~ BEST IN SPECIALTY Fred wins the SENC Specialty over 12 specials, then goes on to take a Group 4 at 19 mos. old! Many Thanks to all who helped and support us this weekend. David & Dawn you are the best!

11/13~ NEW CHAMPION~ Ch. Chekrdflags I Told You So! aka Fred earns his Championship with a 5pt major in Concord, NC.

10/10 ~ Bernie earns his WD (water dog) title. Bernie is a 22mos old Doby son bred & owned by Tricia Woodward. Great job!!

10/4 ~ Fred wins Best of Breed again!!

10/3 ~ Fred goes Best of Breed over a special for his 1st breed win + makes the cut in groups!!! AND.... Pippi goes Best of Breed her 1st time back in the ring in over a year!

8/24 ~ NEW CHAMPION ~ Ch. Chekrdflags American Dream Girl at Charlotte's earned her Championship in ATL at 18mos old...Breeder-Handled by Marie for her last major!!

8/24 ~ Saddle Ridge Chekrd First Place 'Shelby' earned his 3rd major in ATL. He only needs 2 pts to get to his CH!

8/2 ~ Fred is Best of Winners again

8/1 ~ Fred is Best of Winners in Ohio again!

2/14 ~ Winky is Best of Opposite sex a Supported Entry !!

2/1~ Dreamy takes a 3pt major !

1/19-'RokE' goes BOB again in Portland, OR!

1/18-'RokE' goes BOB over special in Portland, OR at 12mos. old.

We wrap up 2008 with an incredible year at Chekrdflags.

• #2 AKC Newfoundland, #4 All Breed & Westminster Invitee 'Doby'
• 'Gambit' was the 8th fastest finishing pyr
• 'Dreamy' is a group placer at 10mos & finished AKC #23 All Breed 
• We had 3 Great Pyrenees earn their AKC Championships ~ Petty, Party & Gambit

11/25~ Doby is one of the 2009 Top 5 Westminster Invitee's

11/15 ~ 'Dreamy' (Lola x Turbo) won Best of Breed over a Group winning special and then a Group 3!! She won a Puppy Group 2 on Saturday Ocala, FL !!!

10/26 ~ Shelby (Lola X Turbo) took a 5 pt Major !! AND....Gambit, Shelby's  brother, won Best of Breed over 3 specials at 9 months old !!!!

10/24~ Group 4 Doby

10/19~ 'Gambit', a Turbo x Lola puppy, earns his Championship from the Bred By Exhibitor classes at 10 months old! Way to go Brenda & Gambit!!

9/28~ Doby Group 2

9/27~ Doby wins another Group 1

8/23 ~ TWO new Champions !! Party & Petty finished their AKC Championships after only 4 weekends of showing.

5/3 ~ Doby & Winky Both make the 1st cut in Best of Breed at the Nationals!  Their Uncle, Ch. Skipper's Eminence King of Helluland WINS the National Specialty !

5/1 ~ Doby's wins the Top 20 judging at the '08 NCA National Specialty

4/6 ~ 2 Black Newfie boys (Fred & George) were born from Azrael x Doby. Very LOUD & strong.

3/8 ~ Doby's father, Skipper's Emperior King of Helluland (Carlos) wins a Group 2 at the Crufts Dog Show

2/3 ~ Petty & Party get another 3pt major each.  Party goes BOS, Petty goes BOW.

2/2 ~ Petty wins his 2nd major ! 3pts BOW.  Party is RWB

2/1~ Petty & Party's 1st show and they both take 3pt majors ! Party goes BOS, for 3pts and Petty takes BOW !!

1/14 ~ Doby takes a Group 3 in Brooksville, FL
